A rather inconvenient error in v0.3.10 -- Padmiri's "punishment" scene applies a set of debuffs on her targets, LVAr, LVAr, LVMo (on sidenote, the second LVAr should be probably something like LVLg since it affects legs)
The problem is these debuffs have duration of "-1 day" (until the next day actually) and persist after the scene is finished. *And* the targets can potentially include player's character.
Not only this heavily penalizes affected characters' stats, and makes them use most of combat/sex actions, but also makes them unable to participate in conversations, as the only action available to them is "Apologize".
Hi Stm. I've checked the code related to this report and I've confirmed that the Long-term vined legs status effect had a wrong acronym, which has already been corrected in the base code and will be made effective in the next build. Everything else would seem to be working as intended: if you suffer these status effects they should last until the end of the day, and thus you should play extremely carefully and even choose to follow a different character. There is another status effect that you may potentially suffer through the Gleaming Caverns adventure that has somewhat less extreme effects, but lasts for several days.
The thing that confused me was, these vines are applied to your character and others by Padmiri and they apparently prevent you from making any actions during that scene, and this is fine and understandable. But then after the scene ends, you're told Padmiri is going to leave you like that... yet somehow you magically gain ability to move around and perform (some) actions again. How, it's never explained or addressed. So it creates impression descriptions and effects aren't on the same page, and something bugged out.
Also, having the ability to do any real talk disabled for that day (including the social phase) doesn't make you "play extremely carefully", but it prevents you from playing the social part of the game on that day at all.
If it's all intentional, then these feel like extremely harsh penalties for just choosing scene option, and given you don't gain anything in return it effectively renders this option pointless -- the player might fall for it during their first playthrough, and even if they don't just reload right there and then, in subsequent games they're bound to pick instead "fuck it, am out of here" or anything else that doesn't just ruin entire day worth of training for zero gain. I mean, you give the player a choice between smashing themselves in the dick, and not smashing themselves in the dick. That ain't much of a choice at all /s
On separate note (a propos of dicks), i like the positioning/actions things this game uses; sparked a few observations, tho:
* kind of surprised me oral interactions are limited to one-sided dominant/submissive arrangements, and there's no 69 position for equal opportunity oral actions
* for herm characters mutual penetration tends to be very common in the game (like, multiple times in nearly every encounter common) but in "reality" it's pretty hard to pull off as it'd require quite specific body arrangement, sort of a reverse cowgirl and 69 crossover. Simply so the body parts can line up instead of getting in each other's way. So it might make some sense to have such mutual penetration as specific (CA) that's only enabled in such separate pose (maybe the 69 one if it was added) and limit regular mounting positions to either penetration or getting penetrated, but not both at the same time? It'd feel less jarring this way.
"the player might fall for it during their first playthrough, and even if they don't just reload right there and then, in subsequent games they're bound to pick instead "fuck it, am out of here" "
There are more outcomes to that scene than those two, though you may not be able to access them if you don't have either the correct relationship stats with Padmiri, hypnosis, or aethereal chains.
"* kind of surprised me oral interactions are limited to one-sided dominant/submissive arrangements, and there's no 69 position for equal opportunity oral actions"
I've stopped adding generic sex actions until the first adventure is finished, more will come later.
"* for herm characters mutual penetration tends to be very common in the game (like, multiple times in nearly every encounter common) but in "reality" it's pretty hard to pull off as it'd require quite specific body arrangement, sort of a reverse cowgirl and 69 crossover."
You can prevent this from happening by disabling the "Multiple full sex continued actions" option in the settings.
"There are more outcomes to that scene than those two, though you may not be able to access them if you don't have either the correct relationship stats with Padmiri, hypnosis, or aethereal chains."
I realize that, these are what i meant by "anything else" in my reply. My point was the harsh penalty applied with the option in question makes that particular option something no player is likely to pick willingly, when they have much better alternatives. Cancelling the debuffs after the scene is done would alleviate this issue, and bring it on par with other options available to the player in that scene.
"You can prevent this from happening by disabling the "Multiple full sex continued actions" option in the settings."
Ohh, thank you. I left the settings in default state to see what the game was like with them, and overlooked that's what the option would do. That solves the problem, then.
Unrelated, but wondering -- is there any particular reason your autosave is using Save.slots instead of Save.autosave for its location? Just feels a bit weird to see the autosave slot in the saves requester empty (and getting one manual save slot less)
"is there any particular reason your autosave is using Save.slots instead of Save.autosave for its location?"
It's been ages since I coded that, but it probably was due to having access to code that referenced how to use JS to overwrite a manual save slot but not how to use the auto slot. Using the auto slot would make it more intuitive, but losing manual slots isn't really an issue since the game tends to lag down a lot when several slots are currently being used.
I love the art! Really looking forward to the eventual male romance options, as a straight woman, there are far too few games that let you play as a female protag like this. Do all of the female interests have the futa option?
Glad you like the game! You have options to customize who becomes a futa at the start of the game out of the six starting protagonists (all six characters, only the player, or only the five other protagonists). Once you reach the first adventure, doing a side-quest (you will know who's the character related to it) will unlock transformation options, which allows you to change the genitals of any character simulated at the Passion Temple.
I don't know if the error is already reported but the images don't appear on android, they do on pc, but not on android apparently the format or content is not allowed in the android html
Players on Android have reported they've had problems with the game until they started using JoiPlay. It should not only solve your issues with images, but with other save files issues you may encounter in the future otherwise.
It's even a little odd to say but, for a dating sim sure lacks the usual romance with dating sim elements you'd usually expect with hanging out at certain spots, gifts, so on and so forth. It kind of becomes a race on trying to woo a character first to bed them before anyone jumps into the fray and snatch them. I was kind of expecting the money you earn to be spent that way aside weaponry/toys. The unique character events help out flesh out how each of them are and, my only complaint is the steep requirements to some options, given it's rather early too that it happens sometimes you didn't have enough time to reach the requirements. Quietly hoping that some of the characters introduced could become challengers at the temple but maybe it's a little too early and could be planned or, perhaps a rival temples in which could eventually challenge them? Also, a little disappointed with the limited variety of positions(possibly also have characters have their preferences on them?) but again, it's a little early to even be disappointed in the first place. Overall, pretty enjoyable experience and has great potential to be developed further still even if a little grindy and you usually tend to lag behind horribly if you don't really know what to do.
Thanks for making this little gem, looking forward to see it be polished more and more.
No matter what choice I make from the options on this passage, it just brings me back to this same passage. Like, nothing changes. Even if I do nothing, it still says I ask Ate to caress my face, and gives me the exact same options.
The last two options (Specific Topics & Leave Conversation) seem to work, though.
This issue was already discussed on the Discord server. Interactions don't work there because the period has already finished, so no new conversation rounds can be created. It was an UI issue really. The code was recently patched, so I don't expect that to happen again in newer versions.
It is explained near the start of the game that you can save on screens where you can read the line "You can save the game". You have the chance to do this at the end of every day.
That's also a problem. I played for three hours and lost all my progress because my roomie woke up and I had to get off the computer. They aren't going to wait for me to reach a save point in an eroge. We both play erotic games, but this is the first that doesn't let you save except at specific screens.
I don't know why you disallow saving except at the end of the day… I can't imagine there's any benefit to anyone.
Animal Crossing use to require you to use a your bed to save; but the newest game lets you save anywhere. So, I can see some logic to saving when you go to bed for emmersion; but the logic doesn't really sit well with me for a NSFW game — a game for adults, who usually have less freedom when it comes to their gaming times — which may need to be closed quickly for any number of reasons.
If the autosave actually saved (my roomie's laptop often wipes files that aren't created manually), then I can at least start from the beginning of the first actual day with some of my character progress from the prologue(?) still intact.
The biggest reason why saving is only allowed at specific screens is because saving during sex/battles scenes or most importantly during map periods would require to save all the information regarding AI states, which would bloat the memory size of the save, which implies another plethora of problems due to how Twine manages its games' memory. I could also go on about how allowing to save anywhere discourages players from being careful about their choices, which is a more subjective discussion in which we could disagree, but given that the technical side has higher priority there isn't much point in that debate anyway. In any case, during the prologue you should have had two or three opportunities to save - if your computer removes files that aren't created manually, I strongly encourage you to use the Save to Disk option.
All of this aside, I'm glad about reading in your comment below that you're enjoying the game, even if there are QoL issues that hinder your gameplay session.
Ah; I see. A.I. states can be a problem for certain saves. As for the players being careful with their actions bit, I imagine that's also why I can't back up on android when the screen misreads where I want to tap.
Speaking of, it'd be nice to have a play in browser version for Android users, as Google or Samsung has made it so local pages can't load local files; which makes little sense to me, though I'm sure there's some kind of reason.
And yes, I quite enjoy it. I may make a Patreon pledge to get the cheat mode, as I don't get a lot of alone time; and I generally wish to experiment with cheat modes when the devs impliment said modes themselves.
I had read the part about when it allows saving; I played for about two hours before posting to see if I enjoyed the game. I make an effort to only complain about issues I have with games I actually enjoy.
If I don't like the game there's not going to be any fixes, improvements, or changes (aside from changing the game entirely) that'll make me enjoy it.
So don't think I'm saying the game is terrible because I can't save; I'm saying I don't see the point in playing; as I'm often in situations where I need to exit the game a.s.a.p. and won't be able to finish the current day as a result. I've cut back on streaming to have some time to myself, and not being able to save when I need to get off the laptop makes it difficult to fully enjoy your work.
That usually happens when you don't extract the files correctly from the .zip file. Extract all the contents to a different, specific, non-compressed folder and launch the game from there.
I just to say that I really like the game, but I was wondering how long it is as of now? I've gotten to day 20 and I've noticed that I'm not getting scenes at the beginning of the day anymore, so I wasn't sure if I've made it to the current end of the build. I also think it would be a good idea to add a message to let you know when you're at the end of a build.
Yes, you're currently at the end of the build. A few versions from now on, new story events may be found later, if the proper requirements are met, but that isn't the case yet.
In the settings, leave "Enable all content" in the futanari section marked (it's that way by default). Your character will become a futa at the end of the introduction.
as a fan of nightgames i really like this game, even if i'd prefer a male protagonist. anyway, in this version i found something that i think isn't intended: training luck at the waterfall doesn't reduce social drive at all. not that i mind it, but it may mess with the balance of the AI. for Val i think something needs to be changed. while i don't mind that she is such a tease, it seems like as of now it just hurts her. also a few questions: are traders implemented yet, or do they require certain settings (like futa)? i haven't seen one yet. also: i read something about hypnosis. is that just the skill from the succubus or did i miss something? anyway, great game so far. i'll keep an eye on this for sure. best of luck!
I'm currently coding equipment items for version 0.2.6, which will also introduce traders.
You can use hypnosis actions in conversations and sex and battle scenes if you get them by picking the boon of suggestion, somewhat around day 10. In version 0.2.5 (which is not yet free), you can also select a non-canon option at the start of the game that gives hypnosis actions to the NPC Candidates. There will be more hypnosis actions and canon ways for all Candidates to learn them in future versions.
I really love the artwork and I'm impressed with the gameplay so far. Of course there are some bugs, such as after going through all the available story events, I could no longer have a conversation with Val, Mir, and Nash. For some reason the join conversation button is there, One bug that I found noticeable is that I can't perform the threesome scene between the PC, Val, and Mir.
One minor gripe I have is how anger and bored status greatly affects the conversation. I hope we get to more content with Claw and Ate, because I found it difficult to start a conversation with them, so I'll just assume that there's currently no sexual content for them besides story.
I'm glad you like the direction the game is taking!
Claw and Ate will have some more character development in the future story events. After that, their base mood values will get less extreme and it'll be much easier to interact with them.
Edit: I've tried to replicate the bugs you've mentioned, but I haven't had much luck. It would be helpful if you gave me as much context as possible.
Ok, so for the Mir and Val scene, I selected "Take advantage and take Mir's back". When the scene starts and I choose an action (such as kiss lips, penetrate, or even selecting do nothing) and then click the commit action button, it shows this error message:
Error: <<script>>: bad evaluation: checkedChars.push is not a function.
As for the other bug regarding the join conversation button, I accidentally deleted my save file of it. I'll go back and try to do the same choices I did before to see if I can replicate it to see how I messed it up.

Not really, no.
Could an apk version be made? to avoid the problems in android
Have you tried using JoiPlay like I suggested?
Yep, sorry for the inconvenience
You could try asking on the game's Discord channel, as there are a few players there who have experience at playing the game on Android.
It's just been a few mistakes with joiplay, I'll check the discord :D

Also I request a mechanic to see the character's full art went interacting with X character
Your suggestion has been implemented, and you may already try it on the newly released public version 0.1!
