Version 0.4.0, packing up for the Shartrish Slopes


Greetings, Candidates! With the arrival of version 0.4.0 I finally made a few changes to some data structures of the game, not only focused on optimizing the use of memory but also allowing for a few interesting additions to the game. Here are the changelogs to versions 0.4.0 and 0.4.1. Let's explore some of the most fun changes of the new update:

- New virginity types

Three virginity types have been added to the game: "first", "tribbing" and "first kiss". "First kiss" and "tribbing" are fairly straight-forward, while "First" refers to any action that involves the lower parts of any pair of characters, thus it will be taken along with the first out of either tribbing, penile, vaginal or anal virginities, thus making the first virginity of any character be worth twice the relationship points. These additions also add some flavor to no-futa runs, which were missing some of these tasty relationship boosts.

Additionally, the virginities section of the characters' menu will now display who took each virginity, provided you can actually see that information. Remember that you need a non-hostile special relationship with a character to see their virginities section.

- Transforming sprites

The sprites of your character will now properly change during transformation scenes! If you select a new avatar through the "Change form" option, the first out of the "chisel face" or "rebuild figure" goals will trigger the change in your character's sprites. These will return to normal after the transformation altered state changes back again.


- Base mood modifiers

The way in which the player character's base mood is handled has been modified, now allowing for dynamic, in-game mood modifiers, the first of which come from the hand of the already existing items. Equipment such as dildos and buttplugs will increase a character's base "aroused" mood, will bondage such as collars and chastity devices will increase their "submissive" mood, giving you even more options to make a drooling mess out of your fellow Candidates in a record time.



You can, of course, stack these modifiers on top of your custom moods.

- Cheat Menu Global Variables

A couple of small tools have been added to the Cheat Menu in the section of global variables.


The relationship stat conversion rate refers to the amount of a relationship stat that gets converted from stv (short term value) to ltv (long term value) at the end of the day. By default, stv gets reduced by 5%, and a fifth of that gets added to ltv, so if you end the day with 1000 friendship stv, you will have 950 stv and 10 extra ltv the next day. This variable, however, multiplies the amount that gets added to ltv, for those of you who wish to see faster developing relationships. Absurd amounts such as 100 are allowed, so that ltv in the previous example would increase by 1000 during that night, and by 950 during the next.

The different stat bars growth ratios refer to the formula that defines the maximum value of the stat bars (lust, willpower, energy and social drive). Some players have expressed the wish to see scenes be finished faster, which this variable allows you to do. Remember, however, that the game will continue to be balanced around the default values.

- Candidate balance changes and test runs

Some of the Candidates have received a few buffs and nerfs, to balance the opportunities of them all to shine. The goal here wasn't to achieve a perfect balance between all of them, since there are story-dependent changes that will aid or hinder them, but some Candidates were nonetheless underperforming more than it was desired.

Among these changes, Padmiri's weakness to fire has been considerably reduced (although it is still significant), while giving her other resistances and strengths, and she's now capable of stand up for herself (sometimes). Valtan has been given a sex attribute strength buff, and she still gets swept around by everyone else; and Maaterasu's weaknesses and resistances have been increased and reduced, respectively, and she's still a powerhouse. A relatively small change in hit evasion mechanics has been added where weapon strength, frailty, resistance and weakness influences the chance of any character to land or evade weapon attacks, which was an indirect buff to Nashillbyir which she has taken good advantage of, now consistently becoming a dangerous rival to Claw. Remember that the player character might also benefit from this change, since there's a story event that gives you the chance to gain weapon strength and resistance.

Since we're at it, I'll also leave you the results of 5 battery tests, where the Candidates are tested in a simulation slightly over a month long to see changes in their merit, stats, relationships and drives:
