Sex Battles and v0.1.2 changelog


Some may be wondering: how is battle supposed to work with sex, when we're not just talking about beating genitals against each other, but also fireballs and kicks in the face? With a very shamelessly built lore: in Unholy Arts, every being has vital energy, which they need to perform the most basic tasks like walking or talking, up to much more complex endeavors such as casting magic. According to the ranks of the Passion Temple, the influence of the Goddess makes this vital energy protect people from all kinds of harm, but in exchange it is linked with sexual pleasure. This means that both blasting countless fireballs to someone's face and fucking them without stop (under a context of stress) will have the same result: they end up gasping and exhausted in the floor. At that point, you've won the battle.

With the lore justification that I was absolutely required to provide out of the way, let's discuss the new mechanics.

Altered states: Different conditions that alter a character's capabilities, like reducing their agility or making them more vulnerable to sex-based attacks. These are usually weak, but they may be stacked. Use them strategically to turn the tide of the battle in your favor.

Evasion: Most of the time, actions on battle scenes may be evaded. Physical attacks are usually evaded with agility, magic is usually evaded with willpower, verbal attacks are usually evaded with empathy. Luck always plays a part, and perception often does too. There are some alternate ways to pass evasion checks, such as pouncing on a target who has ran out of control.

Control: A character's abstract capacity to stand their ground and move around with accuracy. Control is usually also taken into account during evasion, most specially during pounce attacks. Someone who gets relentlessly attacked will gradually lose control until falling to the ground.

Pounce attacks: In short words, these are attacks that initiate continued sex. They're a combination of position actions and some continued actions from sex scenes, put together for balance. They're hard to land unless your target has lost a lot of control, but you'll do far greater damage after a successful pounce attack.

Battle affinities: characters now have a wide variety of affinities, such as magic, fire, social, seduction, physical, sex, use[Bodypart], and others. Each of these affinities have different stats that may be affected by lore, skills, altered states, and they alter the damage that actions provoke during battle. Attacks that aren't very effective against one character may be great against another! To provide some examples: Nash and Claw have slightly weaker magic attacks, Padmiri is very weak to fire attacks and Val's social attacks are slightly stronger. Maaterasu, like any Aiishen, doesn't receive as much damage from physical attacks, has stronger magic, and is weaker to magic. In case of doubt, experiment!

What are the specific battle actions introduced in this version?

For starters, we have the basic "kiss lips", "handjob" and "stroke pussy". The effects of these moves are stronger than in sex scenes, but they're now contact moves: this means that they're hard to land on your target unless you're very close to them.

Next we have 3 pounce actions: Frontal Pounce DP2, P2P, P2D (P and D are short for the genitals involved), along with follow up moves: thrust and push hips back, scissor and scissor back, and ride dick and push dick back. Pounce moves have already been explained earlier - follow up moves deal a lot of damage, as well as retaliation. Thrust, scissor and ride dick are stronger than their counterparts, and it's generally not a great idea to remain in a passive position for long.

For physical attacks, we have "kick" and "cold guts". Kick is a moderately hard to hit action that deals moderate lust damage and considerable control damage. In this build, it's one of the two main ways to make your opponent run out of control. Cold guts is a self-buff action that improves the user's resilience, physique, willpower and lust damage resistance - it's a move that mainly serves to mitigate damage, but correctly stacked it may also allow you to land heavy hits during sex.

There are three initial magic actions: "embers", "freezing feet" and "sparking rubbing". Embers is a projectile that deals a lot of damage. Freezing feet is another projectile that deals small lust damage and small control damage, and weakens the target's agility, control recovery and energy consumption. Sparking rubbing is an electric contact move that deals high lust damage and increases the target's weakness against sex based actions.

Finally, among social actions, there are "taunt" and "tease". Taunt weakens the target's perception, agility, will and luck, but increases their physique and physical damage - it is a great move to make your target miss their marks, but using it during sex is not a bright idea since it will raise their damage output. Tease makes the target deal and receive extra sex damage, and increases the weakness against a random sex-related type of action, so this move will be especially effective if your next actions take advantage of it. It is worth noting that social actions will be generally weaker in battle for balance reasons, given that charisma and empathy are more useful outside of combat.


Unlike I've done here, you should tease your opponent before you pounce on them. Right now Maaterasu has weakness to actions against her pussy, but taking advantage of that will require hitting a different pounce attack!

Keep in mind that it'll take a while to balance this system. In the meantime, make sure to abuse the underdeveloped AI!
